We believe all animals, whether they are big or small, short or tall, should be cared for and given the opportunity to enjoy their lives. There are a number of charities throughout the UK who offer their services to support homeless and unwell animals, most of which are heavily dependent on donations to continue their hard work.

Below are just a handful of charities who support our furry (and not-so-furry) friends and how to follow their activities or get in touch.

Celia Cross Greyhound Trust


Rehabilitating and re-homing hundreds of greyhounds since 1993. This truly wonderful charity is aiming to raise awareness for the breed and the need to adopt such a special type of dog. It is also our Farm Tech Supplies charity of the year for 2017! Based in West Clandon near to Guildford, Surrey.

Large Breed Dog Rescue

The LBDR is a charity whose goal is to rescue and rehome large breeds and large cross-breeds. Behind the scenes, they have a group of determined volunteers who strive to care for the dogs they save. The charity is based Kent; however, it will rehome across the UK.

Birch Hill Dog Rescue


Striving to offer care for unwanted, abandoned and neglected dogs since 1996, the end goal being rehoming any dog in need. Birch Hill are an independent registered charity based in South Shropshire.

Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue


The Harper Asprey team are dedicated to save and care for any creature in need. The overall goal being to raise awareness for environment protection and preserving wildlife. Anyone can donate and even adopt animals that have been rescued.

Rain Rescue


This charity is extremely active and effective in rescuing over 400 dogs and cats every year. Set up in 2002 it has offered a lifeline for the most desperate of animals. The rescue centre has earned a great reputation with helping pets and their owners.

Lincoln Cat Care


Since its establishment in 2004, this small charity has done a great job of rescuing local cats. Based in Lincoln all the cats saved are neutered and chipped before they are found a new home. The charity also helps the local community with free neutering.

Camp Nibble


Based in Leeds, camp nibbles specialize in sheltering rabbits who have been abandoned. The end goal of the project is to rehome the rabbits and supply bunny enthusiasts with those most in need of care.
